The Cat Who Wanted to Change Her Tale
Tanz-Puppen-Performance für Kinder & Familien
A cat, an owl, a lizard, and a mouse live peacefully under the roots of a giant banyan tree. They should actually be eating each other, but a fragile balance prevails here. When the cat gets caught in a trap, it is the mouse that frees her—on the condition that peace reigns. But trust is difficult, and the story takes a surprising turn: Can the laws of nature be rewritten?
Inspired by an ancient Sanskrit tale, The Cat Who Wanted to Change Her Tale tells of friendship, mistrust, and the desire to break out of one's role. With expressive dance, lively puppetry, a transformable stage with video projections, and an Indian-inspired soundtrack, the result is a poetic and visually stunning performance for the whole family.
